That's new in objectiF 7.1

Now included: System Templates for RIA Applications and Persistence Layer

The system template for the model-driven development of Rich Internet Applications (RIA) with MS WPF in C# and a tutorial with a matching example are now integrated in objectiF 7.1. A separate installation is not necessary.

objectiF 7.1 also comes with a new system template for the model-driven development of a persistence layer in C# for NHibernate and a tutorial with a matching example.

Support for MS Visual Studio 2010

objectiF supports MS Visual Studio 2010 now. objectiF recognizes automatically with which version of Visual Studio a solution has been created and opens it with the proper Visual Studio version. When you open a solution created with Visual Studio 2005 or 2008 you are prompted for a conversion. Converted Visual Studio solutions are ready to go and work with from objectiF.

Full Support of MS Word 2010

Summaries from objectiF repositories with Word Publisher are now fully supported by MS Word 2010.

What's new in objectiF 7.1

Above all else we've made sure that the systems in objectiF 7.1 have no size limit. We've also taken care of some errors:

• Up until now objectiF systems bigger than 1 gigabyte could run into problems. With the new system there is no size limit.
• The problem with saving the memo in the association and aggregation Properties dialogs has been fixed.
• There were problems with exporting copied class diagrams. This error has also been remedied.
• There were problems with more than one user trying to edit activity diagrams at the same time on objectiF systems under version control of a configuration management system. This is no longer an issue in the new version.
• The system template for developing Rich Internet Applications (RIA) with MS WPF in C# as well as a tutorial and a sample system is now included in objectiF 7.1. It is no longer necessary to install it separately.
• Also the system template for developing the persitance layer for NHibernate in C# as well as a thorough tutorial and a sample system is included in objectiF 7.1.
